Shipping Disclaimers

Cold Weather Shipping

  • Heat Pack Option: During colder months, we recommend adding a heat pack to your order to protect your plant from freezing temperatures. Heat packs are available for an additional charge and can be selected at checkout.

  • Temperature Guidelines: If temperatures in your area are below 50°F (10°C), a heat pack is strongly encouraged.

  • Liability Disclaimer: We are not responsible for any damage caused by cold weather if a heat pack is not purchased.

Shipping Delays

  • Carrier Responsibility: Once your order is handed over to the shipping carrier, delivery timelines are outside of our control. While we strive to meet estimated delivery dates, unexpected delays may occur.

  • Weather and Seasonal Impacts: Weather conditions or holiday shipping surges may occasionally affect delivery times. We appreciate your patience and understanding in these situations.

Live Plant Shipping

  • Bare-Root or Minimal Soil: To ensure safe and cost-effective transit, most plants are shipped bare-root or with minimal soil. This is a standard practice for live plant shipping.

  • Expected Minor Damage: Minor soil displacement or slight damage to leaves (e.g., bending, yellowing, or small tears) may occur during shipping. These are normal and do not affect the plant’s health or long-term growth.

Order Processing Times

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2 business days. During peak seasons, this timeframe may be extended.

  • Shipping Schedule: We avoid shipping plants late in the week to prevent them from sitting in transit over weekends.

Delivery Areas and Restrictions

  • Shipping Coverage: We currently ship live plants within the United States/Specific Reg

  • P.O. Boxes: Live plants cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes. Please provide a physical delivery address during checkout.

Unpacking and Care Instructions

  • Upon Delivery: Open your package immediately upon arrival. Live plants may experience stress during transit and should be unpacked, watered, and placed in appropriate lighting as soon as possible.

  • Acclimation Period: Plants may need a few days to adjust to their new environment. Temporary signs of stress, such as drooping or slight discoloration, are normal.

Refunds and Replacements

  • Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy: If your plant arrives significantly damaged or dead, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. Be prepared to provide clear photos of the plant and packaging to initiate a refund or replacement.

  • Exclusions: We do not offer refunds or replacements for damage caused by weather conditions if a heat pack was not purchased or for delays caused by the shipping carrier. Improper care after delivery is also excluded from our refund policy.

Cold and Warm Weather Tips

  • Winter Shipping: Always check the forecast for your location and plan accordingly. If temperatures are consistently below freezing, consider delaying your purchase until conditions improve.

  • Summer Shipping: In hot weather, plants are shipped with insulation to protect them from excessive heat. Please track your shipment closely and bring it indoors as soon as it is delivered.
